Oh, and my daily quiz result:
You Belong in 1965 |
1965
If you scored...
1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!
1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.
1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!
1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.
1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good!

This is not a spoiler
Hey. Just got back from Star Wars Episode III. It was very good. George Lucas said he based some things in the movie on this country's "current situation". Free candy bar to anyone who feels like listing them all! If you go to see it, then let me remind you of the White House Shrubbery's statement about Democracy: "If you're not with us, you're against us." You'll see. May the Force be with y'all. Okay, I'm kinda bored, so:
Stolen from Jamie, who stole it from Katey: Reply with your name and: 1. I will write something about you. 2. I will then tell what song/movie remind me of you. 3. If I were to wrestle with you in a vat of jello, the flavor would be.... 4. I will say something that only makes sense to you and me. 5. I will tell you my first memory of you. 6. I will tell you what animal you remind me of. 7. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you. 8. Put this in your journal, or else! When I tried to get into the computer lab I'm in now, I swiped my bank card through the reader about 4 times before I realized what was wrong. Current Mood: exhaustedCurrent Music: sadly, none | | Friday, July 11th, 2003 | | 3:15 am |

"This is one of the few inspirational films that can actually inspire someone."
I am irked. I received a parking violation & fine today for parking on the grass in a parking lot, which I have done many times before. But this is not why I'm irked. I'm irked because on the violation slip, in the slot that says "color of car", my car has been classified as "gold". GOLD?! My car is not gold. I'll take beige, as much as it pains me, and even "indiscriminate iridescent color", but gold is unacceptable. My car is champagne, not gold. But, on the other hand, I got to rant to 15 people about my views on the legalization of marijuana for medicinal purposes and on why handguns should be banned. I also drove over to Target and bought The X-Files Season 6. And I have no class tomorrow. I am at peace. Which Peanuts Character Are You Quiz
Snoopy is my favorite character... but I'm not sure I completely fit the description... ::realizes that I'm pondering the accuracy of a online character quiz:: Shrug. Other than this quiz, I really haven't much to say. The mid-semester blahs are getting to me, too. Eric, I've been thinking of you lately. I miss you. I wanted to come and visit people at UB, but I can't get weekends off from work, especially now. Perhaps in the spring... | | Monday, September 30th, 2002 | | 3:10 pm |

Heh, heh, ditz
Never mind, I don't have class now. I don't have class until 2:30, and it's 1:00 now. I have a new friend, Simia. She's really sweet and friendly and nice. There's one thing that concerns me. Our tastes in music are complete opposites of each other. She likes hip hop and rap. This could be a problem, because it means that I can't ride in a car with her. The things she would listen to, in my mind, are not music. I know that I'm not this shallow, and I'm not going to distance myself from her just because I can't stand rap or hip-hop, but here lies the concern: If people share similar tastes in music, they tend to hint share similar attitudes, opinions, and tastes in other things. Plus, I just can't imagine myself hanging out with someone for a long period of time without listening to music. You all love music, you understand this, right? I don't see this as a problem, not even an issue, but.... it's an issue. Wow, I feel like I could drown in a martini right now. But if this is my biggest problem right now, I'm doing pretty good =-) Current Mood: contentCurrent Music: Still none. | | 12:44 pm |
The bees are after me...
Yo. I'm at school and very bored in between classes so I'm going to ramble about my day so far: Arrived here and parked on the grass again. I'm told I can probably park on pavement once the student teachers stop coming to class and go to their schools to student teach. Had fun in English and wrote an essay - my first in almost a year. I don't think I did that badly either. What was really neat is that I didn't have a panic attack in class; I'd been having every day, in every class so far (which is only two days). Yay, stability! Went and got my school addy's password changed after getting a lot of help from a computer technician who likes Unix more than the internet;) Then decided to go eat, passed one of my professors on the way and he called me by name. I've only had one class with him. ::Impressed:: Since I'd lost my friend who I usually hang out with, I was on my own, which was alright, cause I just felt like being by myself for a bit. Ate under the pavillion by the athletic field, and two bees chased me around while I ate. Went to the bathroom and made a few interesting observations: -This bathroom is used mostly by professors, since it's surrounded by offices and there are no classrooms near it. -There were signs on the doors saying, "Please flush before you leave!" This is the only place I've seen these signs. -They have those annoying faucets. The kind Jerry Seinfeld described as "Those spring-loaded, pain-in-the-ass Alcatraz faucets." The ones near classrooms and in dorms are the normal kind. -All this made me wonder: who is the more responsible bathroom user - the student, or the teacher? You have the time to make these observations when there's a three-hour gap between two classes and there's nowhere else to go. Went back to car, switched books, and decided that, since the moon was full last night, that's why the comb that's holding my hair back keeps trying to fall out. Came here, and didn't fully make it through the door on my first try. I am just so smooth. Hmm, this all sounds rather cynical, but it's actually a very good day:) Now I have to go to class. My love to all of you! Current Mood: happyCurrent Music: Sadly, none. | | Tuesday, August 27th, 2002 | | 6:47 pm |
{{{Being less ignorant}}}
Naiad: any of the nymphs in classical mythology living in and giving life to lakes, rivers, springs, and fountains In my philosophy class, my prof was talking about her family, and revealed much later that most of her "children" were cats. She also mentioned her stuffed dog named Fred, whom she brings in to "help her teach". Then someone asked if the stuffed dog was "once not stuffed". This class will be amusing. Current Mood: amused |
